Summer Hits and Misses

1) Neutrogena Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub - Hit
I really like this scrub its not as harsh as the St Ives one I used before and it also has a cooling effect after I wash it off. It makes my skin soft afterwards and it helps with some blemishes and it is also not very drying even though I have dry skin on my cheeks. The only thing I don't really like about it is the orangey scent it has. I got mine at London Drugs for $10.

2) Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Removing Foaming Cleanser - Miss
When I first tried this out I really hated the scent of this and it felt like I was rubbing wax or something all over my face it felt really thick. It made my skin tight after I washed it off even though its a cream cleanser. I also didn't really notice a difference in the oil control of my t-zone area. It also doesn't get rid of makeup well so I had to follow up with another cleanser. Price of this is also around $10.

3) Laneige Multi-Cleanser - Hit
I love this cleanser, it has very tiny beads in it that you can't even notice when you squeeze the product out until you rub it on your face after you rub it in the beads dissolve. You only need a very tiny amount for your whole face because it lathers up alot. This cleansed all my makeup off and made my skin feel very clean afterwards without the tight feeling. I also like the scent of this it smells like citrus. I got this at MQ at crystal mall for $28 which is really pricey.

4) Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Eliminating Gel (forgot to take a picture) - Miss
This did nothing for my pimples waste of money

5) Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream - Hit
I bought this recently and I really like that it has a cooling feel after i put it on and it absorbs quite fast. This hasn't broken me out or anything and it keeps my face moisturized through out the night. Be warned though it has a really strong cucumber scent. This was around $10 at Walmart.

6) Olay Age-Defying Protective Renewal lotion with SPF 15 - Hit
This is a really light lotion but it doesn't do much for moisturizing I like it as a base for my makeup because it keeps it looking less oily through out the day. I don't notice any effects with the anti-aging properties. It is still a good overall lotion. This was around $12 at Walmart

7) Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation with SPF15- Miss
When I first bought this I really liked how it felt on my face because it was so lightweight and the finish of it. After a couple more uses I noticed that I started breaking out from it >.<. I'm sad this didn't work for me after reading such great reviews on makeupalley. This foundation is quite expensive too about $45 i think.

8) Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturzier with SPF 20 - Hit
This tinted moisturizer has a decent amount of coverage to even out my skin tone and cover up some marks on my face to make it less noticeable. It is also very easy to blend with your fingers and it has a yellow undertone which is really good for asian girls. You need to powder your face after you put this on since it does have a high SPF. I got the travel size version which was 1 oz of product for $24.

9) L'oreal Voluminous Mascara - Hit
I bought this mascara in the waterproof version so it would hold my curl. I have very short lashes and they stick straight and this mascara really helps to make my lashes more noticeable and it holds a curl well and it doesn't look clumpy. This is about $7 at Walmart.

10) Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Hair Conditioner - Hit
After seeing everyone rave about this I went out and bought it and wow it really did make my hair softer right after I used it ! my hair is pretty damaged from dying it and straightening it everyday and this really helped to make it feel softer and more hydrated looking. The price of this is really cheap I think I paid about $4 for this at London Drugs.

11) Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 Itchy Scalp Care - Hit
My scalp has been itchy and flaking since summer started so I went out and bought this to treat it and it really worked my head doesn't itch anymore but I still have some dandruff but it isn't as bad anymore. I use this 2 times a week because it is quite harsh to use as an everyday shampoo so I alternate. This is also quite cheao around $4 at superstore.
